Day Care
Day care is an amiable facility offered by the school for the convenience of the working parents. Air conditioned room, meal is served and is under supervision of a trained teacher.
Special Education
Oakfields has a Special Education Cell. It caters to the needs of the students who need support and sensitized approach in handling academics, behavioral and other aspects. Special Cell provides assistance to children with learning disabilities, learning impairment and attention deficit hyperactive disorder.
Special Educators have been handling student with autism, mental retardation, dyslexia and ADHD. An individualized education plan (IEP) and special classes are organized to help the children improve their academic skills and also their self-esteem, self-confidence and self-acceptance.
Mid-Day Meals
For Kindergarten classes Mid-day meals are a unique facility at Oakfields. The meals consist of one fresh fruit and a meal (one-pot-dish). The school uses quality milk and the children are served meals to their full satisfaction... there is no limit. Children, who do not eat normally at home, start eating with their friends. Thus, eating in peer group not only improves a child's nutrition but also teaches good food habits and table manners.
